The honeycomb exhibits a unique cell structure. The core has 3 orientations vs. the 2 orientations common with other honeycomb, making its properties more uniform. Each cell has a tubular form and is inherently stable.

Different surface materials are variable, such as steel, Al, wood, reinforced fiber glass(FRP), paper . thin marble and other high strength composite materials, so the plastic honeycomb cores are widely used in boat, yatch port, bridge, truck body, building(construction), FRPreinforced fiber glass, container and so on.
