Application:

Textiles:

In open vessels /tanks: the material is treated for 30 minutes at room temperature in bath containing 0.05%-2% optical brightener VBU calculated on weight of the goods to be treat.

An addition of 5-10 gms/litre of glaubers salt help in better exhaustion

On jiggers & winches:the material is treated for 4-6 ends on jigger or 20-30 minutes on winches at room temperature in a bath containing 0.05-0.3% brightener VBU. An addition of 5 gms/litre o f glaubers salt help in better exhaustion

Padding:

The material is padded with solution of 0.5-0.4gms/litre of brightener VBU at room temperature. The concentration of solution depends on the nature of the fabric and degree of whiteness required. It is advisable to maintain the concentration of brightener VBU in padding mangle trough throughout the process.
