Australia’s fastest, most accurate and user-friendly street navigation device from Ausway – the publishers of the iconic Melway, Brisway and Sydway street directories – can be updated every six months, so users will always have the most current map information available.

And its large 4.3” touchscreen displays navigation and driving information in either 2D or 3D.

The Navway also sounds a warning beep of upcoming red light cameras and fixed speed cameras.

If you do miss a turn, the Navway automatically reassess the situation and recalculates its set of instructions in seconds.

About NAVTEQ

NAVTEQ is a leading provider of comprehensive digital map information for automotive navigation systems, mobile navigation devices, Internet-based mapping applications, and government and business solutions. The Chicago-based company was founded in 1985 and has approximately 2800 employees located in 167 offices and in 28 countries

How does it work?

The Navway uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver to determine its current position relative to a set of earth-orbiting satellites. The receiver works in any weather anywhere on the globe.

The GPS information is then matched to the NAVTEQ on board maps and your location is plotted and displayed on the Navway
