Chemical and Physical Properties
The products are made from Alpha alumina, and has characteristics of low silica content( SiO2<0.2%), high degree of alumina content(Al2O3>99%) and high strength. It is an excellent choice for high temperature and stream applications where silica leaching must be held minimal. And the excellent thermal properties combined with its high density and ability to withstand operating temperatures to 1500oC, also make it a good choice for heat retention or equilibration media.
