The diagrams below are for the selection of right and left hand screws indicating the handling of the conveyor to use when direction of rotation and material travel are known. The edge of the flight on the near side of the screw slopes either upward to the right or to the left. When the upward slope is to the left, the flight is right hand; and when the slope is to the right, it is left hand.
