Tube with green cap, called Heparin Tube, with additive of Lithium Heparin, Sodium Heparin. used in blood collection and anti-coagulationnot only for routine clinical biochemistry tests and emergencybiochemistry tests but also for some test items in blood rheology. Itis coated with lithium heparin or sodium heparin.
Usage for Plasma separation tube:
The internal wall of plasma separation evacuated blood collection tubeis specially treated to ensure the quality of plasma. Theanticoagulants added to the tube, such as sodium citrate, EDTA-K2(K3),heparin sodium (lithium), etc, are determined by the requirements ofplasma test. The physicochemical property of anticoagulant complieswith the Pharmacopeia of China. To ensure the stability of serumcomposition and the one-tube operation during the whole test processand serum storage, serum separation gel can be added to the tube. Theplasma separation tube shall be slightly overturned and mixed for 5-8times immediately after collection to ensure adequate anticoagulation.
