Before the delivery, the high-voltage breaker should be run in to ensure every breaker with the good mechanical characteristics. The running-in switchgear shall be wiped off the burr of the component by the mutual force and frictions in the no-load operations to amend its shape and to achieve the best cooperation among the components. The concept of running-in has been the mutual understanding of the international leading switchgear manufacturers.
The key part of running-in of the switchgear is the controlling on openning(closing) coil. The system controls the electrifying sequence and order of the five breakers and the parameters of power supply through the computer to improve the controlling precision. Its capability is much better than the running-in test platform controlled by time-breaker. Implementing the computer is to measure the technical data of breaker to enhance the measurement precision and track the parameters changes of breaker in the testing. Meanwhile, the system saves the primary parameters to accurately figure out the mechanical characteristics of the breaker. The system can make the nicety judgment on the various incidents occurred in the testing, such as switch-on and off rejection, improper transition position of the auxiliary contact touch and wrong connection of the breaker and so on. When the incidents occur, the system can give the phonic and image alarm, meanwhile, switching off the power to protect the switched-on and off coils from damage and as well as saving the times of switch-on rejection, switch-off rejection and manual shutdown for the inquiry in the future.
