Vibration guide line marking is intensively applied in developed countries at present. The equipment is internationally advanced in technology. Its outline in concave convex shape, the primer plus the raising part is in a height of 5-7mm. Vibration guide line has the features of contamination resistance, good whiteness, alkali resistant, durability, good wear resistance, flexibility, weathering resistance, strong vibratory sense, light reflection and indication at raining night, excellent effect and etc. The usage locations are relatively concentrated and the general cost is small. It may be used based on the geological condition and traffic volume.
Major usage:
Warning the drivers to drive as per the lane regulations and reduce the speed, avoiding fatigue driving and forced reducing of speed, improving the traveling safety.
1. 300mm wide raising guide line
Mainly marked at: toll plaza of trunk line, ramp exit, mountainous and hilly area, continuous sharp curve, downgrade section and highway terminals (grade intersection of highway exit with ordinary road), institution/corporate and school entrance for speed reducing. Based on the location, repetitive setting is allowed and the setting shall be vertical to the driving direction.
2. 150/200mm wide raising guide line
Mainly at central separator, edge lines, dangerous section and etc. Parallel to the driving direction.
3. Vibration guide line color: white and yellow light reflecting lines(yellow single or double solid line when setting at central separator interchange).
Raising spacing: 3 types of standard spacing, computer control, adjustable at will.
Setting characteristics:
Speed reducing at plaza, skid proofing on curve, light reflection at raining night, vibration warning
1. Speed reducing warning at toll plaza, on curve and dangerous section.
2. Skid proof: skid proofing on curve section, same friction as on the pavement at raining time.
3. Light reflection at raining night: vibration double yellow lines and vibration edge lines still reflect light at raining night to guarantee the normal drive which can not be achieved by ordinary guide line.
4. Vibrating warning: in case of fatigue driving, the vehicle will vibrate and shape accompanied with moaning produced by the tire on the raised edge guide lines before getting out of the road which prompts the driver to adjust the direction and prevents accidents. Therefore it is a favorable active protection means. According to the instance statistics of Japan experts, maintaining section accidents have be decreased by 40% after using raised vibrating guide lines. Accident rate has greatly decreased in Chengdu-Chongqing Highway after using raised vibrating guide lines.
