Chemical composition: tea polyphenols are composed by more than 30 component, it has 4 types as their chemical construction: catechin, flavone, flavonol, anthocyania, phenolic acid, and catechin is most high and accounts for 60% --80% of the total amount. Catechin is composed by free catechin ( D, L-C, EGC ) and ester type catechin ( EGCG, GCG, ECG ).
