Vacuum Consumable Electrode Arc furnace
Vacuum consumable electrode arc furnace is used to melt the metal rods prepared in advance in vacuum or under inert gas atmosphere. The furnace is designed for remelting steel, especially high-grade alloy steel, tungsten, molybdenum, niobium and titanium. It has advantages of high temperature, rapid melting and effective degassing. The melted metal can not be contaminated by refractory material, which reduce the nonmetallic impurity in the charge.
