Steel grating is used as industrial flooring where heavy static or rolling loads are encountered including heavy vehicular truck traffic up to H-20 loading. Slip resistant flooring surfaces are available. Calculations for vehicular loadings are based on AASHTO Standard Specifications for Highway Bridges.

Light duty grating is manufactured primarily for industrial pedestrian foot traffic while heavy duty steel is used in areas where heavy loading, static or rolling is encountered. This product is used in areas to handle fork lift and/or truck traffic including semi trucks and can support H15 and H20 wheel loads.
