Do not take this medication if you have ever had a reaction to penicillin. You should take this medicine exactly as your dr prescribes. While taking amoxicillin, take them at equal time intervals, such as if you are told to take it 4 times a day, you could do 9am, 3pm, 9pm, 3am or 12am, 6am, 12pm, 6pm. You should not crush, chew, or break the tablets. Swallow them whole. If you miss a dose, and it’s almost time for your next dose, omit the missed dose and resume your normal schedule.
Limit your alcohol intake with amoxicillin, since it may cause stomach upset. If you experience any of those, stop taking the medicine and call our dr. ASAP
