Introduction
Hi-G-Tek’s Hi-G-Locks and Hi-G-Seals are sophisticated,
two-way electronic devices that provide a unique combination
of physical protection with wireless sensing and monitoring
capabilities for improved security and management.
The Hi-G-Lock specifically integrates electronic sealing and
physical key locking verification with complete real-time
data communication capabilities, allowing many locks to be
monitored simultaneously from remote control centers.
Function
Hi-G-Locks, Hi-G-Seals, Hi-G-Tags
The Hi-G-Tek family of electronic Hi-G-Locks, Hi-G-Seals and
Hi-G-Tags are long-lasting, battery-operated devices that
incorporate wireless technology and include a transmitter/
receiver unit, a real-time clock and an internal memory. Inside,
encrypted data, multi-strand wire, and embedded sensors
detect any attempt at interference, tampering or removal,
recording and transmitting any such event. The Hi-G-Tek family
of electronic locks, seals and tags is capable of logging up to 55
events per unit, and the logged information can be downloaded
into a database for storage and processing.
Hi-G-Tek Handheld Data Terminal and MicroReader
Low frequency/short range applications use the Hi-G-Tek family
of electronic locks, seals and tags to log and communicate data
through the Handheld Data Terminal and/or the MicroReader.Hi-G-Tek Handheld Data Terminal and MicroReader.
Hi-G-Tek DataReader
The DataReader is used in long range applications to
interrogate the devices over the high frequency channels
for their ID, location and status. The DataReader is also used
for writing information into the locks, seals and tags and for
retrieving logged information from them. Managed from
remote control centers, each DataReader can communicate with
numerous locks, seals, and tags simultaneously, verifying their
presence and status. DataReaders can be installed in a chain
configuration to allow coverage and protection for securing
large storage yards and ports, and they have an optional
communications modem, which allows the system to transmit
the collected information through available communication
channels to the control center. The DataReader comes in
mobile, outdoor or indoor enclosures, depending on the
environment that the unit operates in.
