Well Type Protective atmosphere Quenching Furnace is a periodically running furnace, mainly used in quenching, tempering and carburizing for various kinds of moulds and mechanical pieces. When used with the furnace control cabinet, it can automatically adjust and record the temperature of the furnace.  

Well Type Protecting atmosphere Quenching Furnace consists of furnace shell, heat element and temperature control system.

Furnace shell is welded shaped steel and steel plate. The hearth box is built by laying ultra-light high-alumina bubble bricks. Insulation layer is made from Aluminosilicate refractory fibers, diatomaceous earth (or Vermiculite powder) bulk material, for improving the heat-insulating property of furnace shell. Heat element is located on the bricks with resistance wire hooks. There are heat-resistant stainless steel welded furnace retort and charging basket in the hearth box. The work pieces about to be treated will be put in the charging basket. A ventilator is mounted on the furnace shell to enforce air circulation, so as to make the temperature and atmosphere well-distributed in furnace. There is a ventilator shaft housing and a gland bush on it, they are both cooled by water.
