Fire is a disaster being closely connected with our real life and it is figured that valuable lives and assets can be protected against fire if appropriate precautions and countermeasures are fully considered because most of fire accidents happens not by natural disaster, but by carelessness.

UL(Underwriters Laboratories Inc.), the international safety organization, tested and inspected the fire door designed, manufactured and installed by SH Door Tech. As a result of withstanding up to 1052℃ for 3 hours, our products obtained UL 10B certificate for fire doors.

The test exposed the specimen to a standard fire exposure controlled to achieve specified temperatures throughout a specified time period, followed by the application of a specified standard fire hose stream. These methods are intended to evaluate the ability of a door assembly to remain in an opening during a predetermined test exposure.

Steel fire doors are "rated" by time (in minutes or hours) that a door can withstand exposure to fire test conditions. Hourly ratings include 3 hours, 1-1/2 hours. 1 hour, 3/4 hour and 1/3 hour. Among other things, we achieved a certificate of the maximum rating required of any swing type fire door being three hours without twisting and bending.

The fire door must be designed within a seamless hollow steel structure, complying with ANSI A123.1. Make sure the door's faces or sides have no joint traces; its upper and lower areas adhere to each others; and the inner structure is composed of steel rib reinforced materials. All the doors must be insulated with glass fibers with 3.0 pcf, rock wools, and ceracles.
