According to the coal and mining safty regulation, the concentration of emulsion should be maintained within the optimum value of established working condition. There will be too much foams and high cost if the concentration is to high, it also comes with disadvantages of irritating the skin, poor cooling etc. But if the concentration is too low there will be poor rust-proof, bacterium control and lubricity. The matching concentration of emulsion is affected by many factors, including  water pressure and water quality, temp, flow, accuracy of matching devices etc. The existing emulsion preparations are mostly using the light refraction observation by sampling, the accuracy of this procedure is not high with low efficiency and artificial factors.
