General description:
SHS-self-propagating alumina composite steel pipe pipe is the new generation of wearable and corrosion resistant engineering pipeline, belongs to national "863" Hi-tech plan products. This pipe is composed of corundum(alpha-Al2O3), transit layer and steel from inside to outside, having good all round properties of corrosion resistant, wear-resistant, high temperature resistant and high strength, high toughness, high mechanical impact proof and thermal impact proof while it still can be processed by machining,grounding and welding etc.

Tube diameters:     50 to 1020mm
Elbow angle: 22.5, 45, 60, 90, 120, 135, 150 degrees, etc.
Three way pipes: Y shaped, Y lateral and other special shapes.
Four way pipes: straight cross, reducing cross.
Ceramic lining thickness: 3 to 8mm (including transition layer).
Ex-works length: less than or equal to 3m.
Customized maximum length can be achieved by welding.
We can also provide products of other customized sizes at your demand.
Packing: Seaworthy wooden cases.
 
Material property:
The alumina layer is formed by molten alumina at a temperature above 2500 degree Celsius. The molten alumina produced from the reaction Fe2O3+2Al=2Fe+Al2O3 spreads on the inside wall of the steel pipe under the influence of a centrifugal force, then solidifies, so the alumina layer has high density and smooth surface and bonds to the steel pipe.
1. Alumina layer containing AL2O3 over 90%, acid fashness 96-98%, same as that of high corundum ceramic;
2. Ten times of anti-corrosion than that of stainless steel;
3. Wear-resistance is equivalent to carboloy ,more than dozen times of steel;
4. Can sustain long period operation under 900 degree Celsius.
 
Features:
High abrasion resistant:
Vickers hardness of the corundum lining is HV1100 to1500, as high as that of tungste-cobalthard alloys, and the abrasion resistance is 20 times as carbon steel pipes. Its rigidity is the highest among all oxides.
Corrosion resistant:
Corundum is a neutral material, and is ac-proof and foulingfree. 
Heat resistant:
The pipe can work under circumstances of  -50 to 800 degrees Celsius.
Convenient installation:
It is much lighter than any other types of composite pipes, and can be welded or connected through flanges.
Cost effective:
Ceramic-lined composite steel pipe can take the place of expensive stainless steel, titanium, nickel, cast stone or alloy pipes. Extended service life can also reduce mainten nce cost.
