It is an auto photo camera. It has a motion detection function: it started taking photos as any motion is detected. Each time, it will take 3 pictures (640×480 pixels) continuously, and saves them on an SD card (same with those in digital cameras). An SD card with a 2G memory can store up to 150.000 photos. When the SD card is full, the camera will delete the earliest photos automatically.

If you need to view the photos taken, you only need to take out the SD card, put it into our SD card reader and insert it to your computer USB slut (like a flash disk), and then you can view them in the following ways:

&      Use the picture viewing software combined in windows system. Photos are saved in the root directory of the SD card, with date month and year as their folder names, while each photo file is named in hour-minute-second format. eg. if you want to find a photo taken around 10:20 am on June 1 2008, you only need to open folder 08-06-01, and check 10-20-XX (where XX stands for the any second between 00-59 second)

&    The picture viewer that we provide (in folder “scanpicture” in root directory of SD card) is empowered with many file searching methods. See “Help” file for details.

 

When connected to a speaker, the Smart Memory camera can not only automatically taking photos but also makes alarm for 5 seconds if it detects motion.

        The wireless magnetice door and wireless infrared detector are both included in the basic configurations. After probe security is set through remote control, it can be activated and the SMC will take 3 pictures (640×480 pixels) every time, with a 5-second alarm, and the motion monitoring auto-photo function is initiated.

 

 It is also a complete semi-dome camera with Video-out outlet to output standard video signals used for CCTV front devices.

 

When used as a CCTV camera, it can snap pictures through remote control.

 

The biggest strength of this device is that its several functions can be used together or separately through remote control. It is simple and flexible:

 &   For a 24-hour man-guarded place, function 1 (auto photo-taking by motion detection) can be used separately, or function 4 and 5 be used together (the video signals can be transmitted through Video line and displayed on TV set or monitor, and when seeing a scene which needs to be photographed, the operator can snap the picture by remote control).

&     In a place 24-hour without guard, function 1 can be used separately, or functions 1 and 3 be used together (when motion is detected, the auto photo-taking function is initialized and when the probe is activated, the speaker lets out alarm).

&    For a place guarded in daytime and un-guarded in nighttime, functions 4 and 5 can be used together in daytime; function 1 or functions 1 and 3 be used in nighttime.
