2. Up measuring surface
3. Bracket 4. LCD display
5. Lever 6. Zero-setting
7. On/off switch 8. MM/IN switch
9. Battery compartment
10. Data output interface
Function 1. Zero setting at any position;
2. ON/OFF switch ;
3. Metric/Inch system interchange at any position;
4. With data output interface.
Usage
1. Push down the LEVER and clean the measuring surfaces with a soft cloth.
2. Press the ON/OFF switch. The 0. 00mm or 0. 000mm display appears.
3. When the DOWN MEASURING SURFACE close to the UP MEASURING SURFACE , you should press the ZERO SETTING to let the display show 0. 00 or 0. 000.
4. Push down the LEVER and make the workpiece between the UP and DOWN MEASURING SURFACE; loose the LEVER then read the display data.
5. Press MM/IN to interchange the measuring unit.
The method of replacing battery
Remove the battery compartment and replace one SR44 battery with its positive (+) side facing upward.
IMPORTANT
1. Avoid shocks, impact, dropping etc., otherwise it will damage the appearance and precision.
2. Keep gauge clean, prevent liquid from getting into inside.
3. Do not remove output connector lid without using output interface. Output end should never be connected with metal. Doing so could damage your gauge.
4. Do not connect any part of gauge with voltage; otherwise it will damage the circuit.
5. Must take out the battery if not in use for a long time.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Failure |
Possible Situation |
Solutions |
All digits appear simultaneously and change rapidly |
Battery power low |
Remove battery compartment lid and replace battery |
The display does not work (only when changing battery) |
Circuit accidental pause caused by poor voltage when fixing battery |
Remove battery and replace it after 30 seconds |
Reading error for full length is ≤0. 1mm |
Dirt has damaged/covered sensor |
Remove cover and slider assembly. Apply a small layer of petrol to avoid dirt build-up |
Nothing appears on the LCD |
Battery has poor contact. Battery voltage is under 1. 1v |
Keep good contact for battery or replace the battery |
