Coated Ascorbic Acid is prepared by coating ascorbic acid USP/BP/EP/FCC with ethyl cellulose for retardation of ascorbic acid loss during processing and storage.

It contains about 97% ascorbic acid and is intended for using in pharmaceutical, food and feed additives.
