Under Tile backer boad is a water resistant, insulated tile backer board made of extruded polystyrene foam board on both sides with a fiberglass mesh embedded into a thin cement polymer mortar.
It is widely used in the underfloor system as a structural tile backer board.
Tile backer board also can be used as wall tile backer board. Tiles can be fixed directly onto the surface without prior preparation and being totally waterproof. It is suitable for bathrooms or showers etc..
