Tunnel gate inserts is submarine gate mode that replaces push cut type gate, draw
cut type gate and secondary runner type gate. Gate bush can be produced on surface
of push cut type gate plastics parts due to high pressure. And gate requires still
being removed by hand. For draw cut type gate, gate trace is left on surface of
plastics parts. Secondary runner type gate has the same shortcoming as the push
draw type gate. Tunnel gate inserts simplifies mould gate structure. It uses
tunnel to inject into end face of product with wall thickness. The mode of cutting
runner structure can assure plastic products are released successfully. No
apparent trace is on the top of gate. Compared with the resistance of pouring into
plastics for other submarine gates, its resistance is reduced greatly so that the quality
of plastics parts can reach the higher level.
