YK-III

YK-III glass frosting powder is used for the glass products with rigid material to get the etching effects, such as borosilicate glass, quartz glass.

Operation in production:

Put 5kg nitric acid (65%) into 10kg of glass frosting powder, churn up the mixture symmetrically before leaving it still for 24 hours, stir it fully then put it into the production. The etching time is 10 to 20 minutes.

Submerge the clean glass into the solution for 10-30 minutes, take out and clean with water, the etched glass will be get.

[Attention Lines]

1.The workplace must be installed with the discharge facilities to make sure the ventilation in the etching production.

2. The frosting solution must be prepared in plastic containers or those containers have been done with preservative treatment.

3. In the production, workers must wear rubber gloves to prevent burning skin, but if so, wash it immediately with clean water.

4. Be sure the surface of the glasswork is clean without any oil, wax and gluey impurities.

5. The solution must be fully stirred when it is put into the production, cover when store up.

6. Replenish the prepared frosting solution into the production when it couldn’t produce the well-etched glass products.

7. If the first etching effect is not satisfied, clean it and etch the second time.

8. When discharge the sewage, put some quicklime into the solution to its acidity.
