Model 8500-1 Safety Cutter offers lever action for smooth cutting of disposable plastic. One squeeze removes nylon restraints simply and safely. The unique design of safety "Break Point" assures the cutter blade can never be used as a weapon. The model 8500-1 can be used to double lock a disposable cuff by quickly trimming off any excess material away from the locking head. The model can also be used to cut clothing or a vehicle seat belt in an emergency.
