H-Effective height of discharge-in-advance lightning rod, it is the distance from height of the lightning rod to protected surface. D-Electricity shock distance (radius of the ball). Per different grades and values of lightning protection in GB50057-94 Buildings Lightning Protection Design Regulation, the ball radius of first, second, and third classes building are respectively 30cm, 45cm, and 60cm.
The best installation height of discharge-in-advance lightning rod is 5M.
