Chopped strand mat is a non-woven mat manufactured by spreading continuous filament roving of 50mm in length randomly in combination with polyester binder in type powder or emulsion. This product have excellent properties of resin impregration, easy mouldability.

 

Use: Mainly for the application by hand lay-up FRP mouldings such as various sheets and panels, boat hulls, bath tube, cooling towers, etc.

 

We can supply gram weight as follows: 100g/㎡, 180g/㎡, 200g/㎡, 225g/㎡, 300g/㎡, 375g/㎡, 450g/㎡, 600g/㎡ and 800g/㎡.

 

Its width can be 1m, 1.04m, 1.25m, 1.27m, 1.86m, 2m, 2.6m, 3m and 3.2m.

 

Due to different width, the weight of each roll will be different, there are 30kg, 35kg, 40kg, 45kg, 70kg and 80kg.

 

As to packing, it uses plastic bag and carton outer and then put into containers. If uses 20’GP, it can load 10080kgs with width of 1.04m or load 9730kgs with width of 1.2m, 1.25m or 1.27m. When uses 40’HC, it will load 20520kgs with width of 1.04m or 20510kgs with width 1.2m, 1.25m or 1.27m.
