Air Entraining Admixture
Description
ZT-YQ is an air entraining admixture which generates a highly stable air void system for increased protection against damage from freezing and thawing, severe weathering, or deicer chemicals. ZT-YQ is a light yellow powder product designed to generate specification-quality air systems. Based on a high-grade saponified formulation, ZT-YQ is chemically similar to vinsolbased products, but with increased purity and supply dependability. ZT-YQ complies to ASTM C 260 Standard Specifications for Air-Entraining Admixtures for Concrete.
Application
Widely used in the concrete with air entraining requirement, such as dam concrete, pavement concrete, construction in winter concrete ,anti-filtration concrete ,high durability concrete.
Features
1. Fully activate the cementing material of concrete, promoting hydration, improving bond strength, overcome the strength reduction when air bubbles introducted into concrete.
2. Plasticity components added, without lowering the performance of admixture, concrete has good water retention function, significantly reducing the bleeding rate.
3. Good hydrophilicity and Complexation, compatible with soft and hard water,no white, precipitation phenomena because of calcium and magnesium ions restoring.
4. Excellent compatibility, fully embodying the "synergistic effect", complexed is better than single-dose, water-reducing, dispersing, wetting, solubilization, viscosity reducing increased in varying degrees.
5. In cement mortar, it has the fuction of introducing micro-foam, reducing water, enhancing on strength and plasticity, reducing viscosity, retaining water, reducing settlement, saving cement and other functions.; adaptable with acid, alkali, salt solution. non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-flammable.
6. Blended with this product, Bubbles in fresh cement Mortar and Concrete have thicker membrane wall , can maintain a good round ball,the the mixture has Strong cohesion, easy to pumping and vibrating.
7. Preconditioned by the same air content,concrete blended with air entraining has higher water-reduction,lower the negative effect on compressive strength o; when used in low-grade concrete, no influence on the strength strength.

Addition Rate
Testing or prior experience with the job materials and job equipment is necessary to determine the proper dosage and minimum mixing time. Recommended addition rate: Add 0.005- 0.015% for mortar or concrete.
Package & Storage
The product is packed in polywoven bag with plastic liner at 10kg. Cautions should be taken to prevent packages from being torn by sharp-ended objects while being transferred or delivered. The shelf life is 3 years.
