Colorless hexagonak system crystal, density 2.257, melting point 30C, easy dissolve in water and liquid-ammonia, micro-dissolve in alcohol, glycerine, easy deliquescence. Decomposition tempreture 380C and decompisited quickly when heated to 529C. Sodium nitrate is Oxidant, can inflammation and explosive while mixed with orgnic compound, Sulphur sodium acid sulfite etc.

For chemical, glass, explosive, fireworks, dye, metallurgy, machinery, enamel industry, meat antiseptics, etc.
