Description: Normal color is light yellow with some appearance of light green in the heart. Most will have some sapwood on both sides and some are totally sapwood. Sapwood has the color and grain similar to hard maple. The grain is beautiful and clear. For crown cut the grain is small crown cut grain with quarter cut grain on both sides. For quarter cut the grain is straight. For AB grade the surface is clear with rare impurity while C grade has serious in-grow bark and dead knot. Some has light color variation.
