Properties:

A white to creamy white powder or colorless to light yellow transparent liquid with special smell. It is earsily solubled  in water, ethanol, isopropanol, or chloroform, and insolubled  in acetone or ether. Molecular size ranges

from 1-100 nm. Polymer with average molecular weight lower than 30000 can be directly excreted from the human kidney

 

Application:

Cosmetic industry;

PVPK series could be used as Film-forming agent, thickener, lubricants and adhesives in cosmetics industry like For hair spray, mousse, hair gel set. It could also be used as addictives in the skin-care products and hair dyes, modified fluid, shampoo, lipstick, deodorant, sunscreen, toothpaste, etc.
