Zinc Stearate
1. Formula: Zn(C17H35COO)2
2. Properties:
Zinc stearate is white or light yellow powder. It is dissolved in hot alcohol; but not in water. It can be decomposed into stearic acid and corresponding salt by strong acid. The product possessed water absorbability in air.
3. Usage:
The product is used as PVC stabilizer, rubber lubricant, glazing agent, paint flatting agent and cosmetic material in the textile industry, etc.
