Cadmium Stearate
1． Formula: Cd (C17H35COO)2
2． Properties:
Cadmium stearate is white or light yellow powder. It is dissolved in hot alcohol, but not in water and can be decomposed into stearic acid and corresponding salt by strong acid.
3． Usage:
The product is used as PVC hotproof and lightproof stabilizer, rubber polish (such as clinical gloves), and paint and china colouring agent, etc. It helps improve the transparency, stability in light, and avoid its serapating out and steaking during manufacturing process.
