The primary superiority of high speed press is its speed. The medium-speed press basically can achieve the speed of 200-300/ spm. In comparison, the high-speed press were generally able to achieve 600-800/ spm, and if the die permits, it can even reach 1000/ spm.
Second, it’s because of its structure that the high-speed press can rotate at high speed. The high-speed machine uses a 3  guide pillar. Compared with the slide track of low speed press, it doesn’t need maintainance. The precision of low speed press depends on the precision of its slide track to a large extent, but the high speed press does not have this problem.
Furthermore, the precision of the low-speed and medium-speed machine can not be compared with that of the high-speed machine. From the perspective of energy conservation, a high-speed machine is equal to 2-3 medium-speed or low-speed machines, but its power consumption is only equal to a medium-or low- speed machine. With only one set of die you can save electricity of two sets of machines. What’s more,you can save human resources. An operator can simultaneously watch 2-3 high-speed machines (because it’s all automatic), while every medium- or low- speed machine must need an operator.
