Wood pellets are a type of wood fuel, generally made from compacted agriculture waste, such as straw, sawdust and wood chips. They are usually produced as a byproduct of sawmilling and other wood transformation activities. The pellets are extremely dense and can be produced with a low humidity content (below 10%) that allows them to be burned with a very high combustion efficiency. Further, their regular geometry and small size allow automatic feeding with very fine calibration. They can be fed to a burner by auger feeding or by pneumatic conveying.

Wood pellets fuel is a limitless and environment friendly fuel source. It is clean-burning and cost stable home heating alternatives. To burn wood pellet is a good way to divert millions of tons of waste from landfills and timber industry and turn it into energy. Their free-flowing characteristics make them easy to handle and ideal for automatic heating system.

Wood pellet is renewable and does less harm to our environment. It does not add more carbon dioxide to the atmosphere as it absorbs the same amount of carbon in growing as it releases when consumed as a fuel.

Wood pellet is an important source of energy and the most important fuel worldwide after coal, oil and natural gas. Anybody who is involved in this line of business is actually making the contribution to the earth, the home land of human beings.
