This project is a variation on saltbox-style house.The roof is not symmetrical,a design element that gives the house a distinctive look.

Woodpeckers love to excavate and sawdust simulates a dead tree.

 

Mount the house 10 to 20 feet high in a tree and stuff it with sawdust.
