2. The EPDM insulation is specially formulated to have low swell characteristics in the presence of hydrocarbons. The lead jacket allows for a much greater temperature tolerance. Recommended for all oil well applications where the temperature is not exceeded. The flat profile should be used where there is a geometric constraint.

3. Maximum operating temperature is 450oF (232oC), rated voltage 4kV or 5kV Standard Construction Conductors Solid, stranded or stranded compacted tinned copper conductors. A special sealing compound completely fills the interstitial spaces between the strands to prevent gas migration.

4. Insulation A high quality EPDM compound is bonded to the conductor. It is formulated to provide high dielectric and low swell characteristics in the presence if oil. Tape A fluoropolymer tape is helically applied with an overlap over the jacket to provide added protection against oil and chemicals and core decompression damage. Jacket A lead jacket provide excellent heat, oil resistance and low swell, is extruded over the cabled insulated conductors. Braid A synthetic braid, applied with full coverage over the jacket , provides additional mechanical reinforcement and hoop strength. Armor A fully galvanized steel tape armor provides excellent mechanical protection with a high degree of flexibility.

5. Options Stainless steel or MONEL 400 armor is available for use In highly corrosive well environments. Heavy or double armor options are available.
