It is white powder crystal of 136.29 molecular weight, 2.91g/cm3 density, 283℃ melting point and 732℃ boiling. It is deliquescent, and it dissolves in water. It dissolved in organic solution of oxygen-containing, such as methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, glycerin, acetone, ether and so on. It can solve metal oxide and cellulose. Zinc Chloride has good property of conducting electricity. It has corrosion and toxicity.
