Dimer acid is a dimmer carbocylic acid produced by the polymerization of unsaturated fatty acid like oleic and linoleic from natural grease under the presence of catalyst ,It is mainly used to produce polyamide resin(used in the production of printing ink), epoxy resin solidifying agent, Polyamide hot-melt adhesive, thixotropic alkyd and so on. Besides, it could also be used in the fields like lubricant additive in steer rolling oil, chemicals used in the digging of oil well, anti-oxidizer of metal processing oil and so on.
