General introduction
Impact Crusher is widely used for crushing hard and crispy materials, such as rock, grinding material, refractory material, clinker, quartzite, iron ore and concrete aggregate. It is especially suitable for sand and sandstone making for construction and road paving. STG vertical impact crusher is composed of feeder, separator, vortex crush cavity, impeller, main shaft, base gearing and motor.
Sand maker work principal
Material is fed into crusher by feed hopper, it becomes two parts by separator, one part enters into the high-speed impeller from the middle of separator, it's accelerated rapidly in the impeller body, the acceleration can be up to several hundred times of gravity acceleration, then it's splashed out from the flute of the impeller with 60~70m/s, at first it impacts with the part drop from the circle of separator, then they impact onto the material liner of vortex cavity, it's rebounded by liner, then it upthrusts the top of the vortex cavity, then change the movement direction, it deflect downward, then it splashes out from the flute to form continuous material curtain. From this process, one piece of material is impacted and rubbed two or many times in the cavity, the crushed material is discharged from the outlet. The crusher and circulation screen form a closed loop system, normally circulars three times can get the grain below 20 mesh. During the whole crush process, the materials impact each other, they don't contact with metal elements, they impact and rub with the liner, it reduce the pollution, prolong the machine service life. The ingenious self-air circulation in the vortex cavity eliminate the dust pollution.
