Product Main

Specifications

It is developed specially for the air distribution in HVAC applications. Polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam panel with 52 ± 2 Kg/m3 density, 20 mm thickness, coated with 80-micron thick aluminium foil on both sides. The aluminium foil is embossed on both sides and coupled with a layer of corrosion-resistant polyester paint. This panel is especially suited for use in air-conditioning and heating system installations.

PUR and PIR all belong to the same generic family of thermosetting materials. The general spec. of PIR and PUR is very close but our PIR is Green products because we use high standard blowing agent 245FA which bring our products had Zero ODP, which means free ozone depletion potential, is a standard to the circumstance friendly.

We got the certificate for our PIR Panel in Australia; it is approved by third party in Australia as per AS/NZS 1530.3-1999 the methods for fire tests on building materials, components and structures - Simultaneous determination of ignitability, flame propagation, heat release and smoke release, and ASNZS 4859.1 the methods for thermal conductivity. We are manufacturing based on it.

Advantages

Thermal insulation: constant and continuous in all duct sections. Special closed-cell insulation guarantees low thermal conductivity and limit the risk of condensation.
Friction loss: the low number of flanges and limited surface roughness keep linear friction losses at very low levels.
Airtight seal: air tightness of TD pre-insulated ducts is eight times more than conventional ducts.
Energy saving: perfect thermal insulation, low friction loss and optimum airtight seal allow for maximum exploitation of air handling unit capacity, increasing efficiency and reducing operating costs.
Hygiene and air quality: the use of aluminium for the internal surfaces of the ducts ensures hygiene and cleanliness. The problem of ageing of the insulation and consequent release of particles is non-existent.
The use of aluminium with glue and anti bacterial coating which give an additional protection and harmless; no moulds, viruses and bacteria grow on its surface.
Safety: TD pre-insulated ducts have a low participation in fire, do not drop and smokes have a reduced opacity and toxicity. Our product is in conformity with the requirements of the most restrictive international regulations.
Silent operations: the sandwich structure (aluminium - insulating material - aluminium) guarantees a good acoustic behavior. Vibration and reverberation are stopped by the insulating material, contributing to a higher comfort in the environment where TD pre-insulated duct is installed.
Light weight: the very light weight allows a reduction of weight on the structures, supporting points, workmanship costs and materials necessary for the installation.
Construction easiness: possibility of manufacturing ducts in the work shop or directly at job site with considerable advantages on transport costs.
Maintenance and modification easiness: TD pre-insulated ducts can be maintained and modified in any section on site.
Duration: the outer aluminium coating coupled with the insulating material provides sturdiness, rigidity and good resistance to corrosion, erosion and deformation even in special applications
