EL Wire, also known as electroluminescent wire, is totally flexible, cool to the touch, non-toxic, and produces a true 360 degree radiant soft NEON glow. It is a flexible copper wire core with phosphorescent material coated,. Two hair-thin wires are then wrapped around the core. A waterproof sheath is applied before the colored translucent plastic layer encapsulates it all. When a high frequency electrical voltage is applied, it glows like neon. EL wire is flexible and emits light along its entire length. It is available in a wide range of colors and several diameters. It can be cut into any length, from centimeters to thousands of meters.
