1. Art of Technology: The Aluminum Oxide Ceramic Foam Insulation Material was manufactured based on multiple technologies of Material Science, Condensed Matter Physics and Surface/ Interface science with the Nano Particle of Alumina oxide. According to the production technology of highly concentrated suspension process, surface modification of nano-particles and Sol-Gel casting, the Aluminum Oxide Ceramic Foam Insulation Material, with ultra-light weight, excellent compressive and flexural strength and high temperature resistance, was developed.

The application temperature can be as high as 1750 oC, which is not available for aluminium silicate, polycrystal mullite, alumina based ceramic fiber or any other light weight refractory brick in the market.

 2. Characteristics: (1) High Purity: Al2O3 > 95%;

(2) Application temperature: up to 1750 oC

(3) High strength: much longer lift time than RCF.

 (4) Ultra-low density: 0.2-0.5 g/cm3

(5) Low Thermal Conductivity and Linear Thermal expansion coefficient;

(6) Fiber free: harmless to people in the production and using process.

 (7) Great Thermal Shock Resistance: can be used for quickly heating and cooling.

3. Applications:

(1) 1000 oC -1750 oC laboratory or industrial furnace lining;

(2) Electric or gas heating furnace lining;

(3) Kiln cars lining;

(4) All applications when temperature achieved 1750 oC

 (5) High temperature field with H2, CO or other reducing / oxidizing atmosphere.
