1. Working Principle YJD series rotary air-lock valve also named as Rotary feeders (rotary airlocks or rotary valves) are commonly used in industrial and agricultural applications as a component in a bulk or specialty material handling system. Rotary feeders are primarily used for discharge of bulk solid material from hoppers/bins, receivers, and cyclones into a pressure or vacuum-driven pneumatic conveying system. Components of a rotary feeder include a rotor shaft, housing, head plates, and packing seals and bearings. Rotors have large vanes cast or welded on and are typically driven by small internal combustion engines or electric motors. 2. Application YJD series rotary air lock valve is applied to discharge granulator/powder material or add granulator/powder material either in different positive air pressure or in different negative air-pressure of pneumatic conveying system; also it is a necessary device for ventilation and removing dust system. A rotary valve is of no use by itself. Rotary airlock and rotary valves are useful as one component in a bulk or specialty material handling system. It has wide application in industry wherever dry free-flowing powders, granules, crystals, or pellets are used. Typical materials include: cement, ore, sugar, minerals, grains, plastics, dust, fly ash, flour, gypsum, lime, coffee, cereals, pharmaceuticals, etc... Industries requiring this type are cement, asphalt, chemical, mining, plastics, food, etc... Rotary feeders are ideal for pollution control applications in wood, grain, food, textile, paper, tobacco, rubber, and paint industries, the Standard Series works beneath dust collectors and cyclone separators even with high temperatures and different pressure differentials. a. Silo Discharge-The rotary valve placed under the silo or dust collection system is used to control the bulk solid discharge. b. Dosage Control-By controlling the rotation speed of the airlock feeder, volumetric metering and dosing of granular solids is achieved. c. Pneumatic Transportation-The airlock mounted under a cyclone is used for discharging the cyclone. d. Pneumatic Transportation-Rotary valves mounted under cyclones, silos or hoppers are used to feed the pneumatic conveying line. 3. Characteristic a. Usually it is composed of 3 phrase AC asynchronous motor, motor reducer and rotary valve. b. It can work stably with high efficiency c. With external bearings and motor-reducer, it can work less than 280 C. d. The material can be cast iron, carbon steel, stainless steel; 4. Specification Capacity: 2L/round--66L/round Motor Power: 0.55Kw-5.5Kw Speed: 24r/min Optional Information |
