Tricone cutters are commonly used with Hole Openers, Core Barrels, and other applications of Foundation Drilling. Because of high mechanization, high penetration rate, good drilling quality, low labor intensity as well as safe operation, the engineering bit is a primary product used for modern foundation construction.

Engineering bits consist of a cone, bearing, shaft, cap and sealing components. The bit cone rotates around the shaft and is mounted on a saddle to form a drilling unit.

A special sealing system and a piston balanced structure filled with special lubricant are utilized to prevent the construction bit bearing from permeation of sand, so as to improve the reliability of bearing system and prolong the lifetime of the construction bit.
