The ZigBee Gateway is designed with two parts: ZigBee network coordinator and interface converter. The ZigBee network coordinator manages the ZigBee network while the interface converter converts ZigBee network data to/from external universal interface of RS232, RS485 or Ethernet, enabling the computer to manage the ZigBee networks via these universal interfaces.
