Product Introduction
A Thermostatic Mixing Valve(TMV) is a valve that blends hot water (stored at temperature high enough to kill bacterial) with cold water to ensure constant and safe outlet temperature preventing scalding.
TMVs are used in solar heater system to avoid scalding due to sudden spouted hot water.
They outputs comfortable water of constant temperature and accurately control water temperature for bathing,showering and hand-washing. They maintain pre-set temperature, even if water pressure varies when other appliances are used. TMVs can be fitted under basins and bathtubs and be part of shower fittings, or as a fixture of an exposed hot and cold water mixer.
 
When the hot water failed, the cold inlet port will close automatically.
When the cold failed, the hot will close too.
When the hot water temp reduces below the set temp, the cold flow will stop and hot water continues.
