[Properties] The product is white fine powder. It is dissolved in hot water, alcohol and ether but not in water, and can be decomposed into stearic acid and corresponding salt by strong acid. It has water absorbability in air.
[Characteristics] Paint grade zinc stearate is super-fine powder with characteristics of good transparancy, dispersibility and heat stability, easy polish, quick drying and easy defoaming.
[Usage] Zinc stearate for paint and ink is widely used for furniture wood paint, high quality ink, car or marine coatings and powder coatings; it is also used for plastic and macromolecule resin.
