Enable module to perform fast position during start-up using preloaded ephemeris and almanac data.

 

Gtop Binary Protocol

Efficiently transfer and process coordinate message in 8 bytes binary protocol format using 8-bit micro controller, without the need for parsing, conversion and huge C++ string libraries!

 

10 Hz Update

True 10Hz update rate for high-speed applications.

 

One sentence

Simplifies standard NMEA sentence into a shorter Gtop proprietary protocol for a more efficient data processing. Also can pre-calculate data such as distances between two points within the GPS module to save calculation cycle on host micro controllers!

 

Power Periodic Mode

Achieve maximum power saving by automatically enters and exit sleeping mode, great for mobile and camera devices. Saves power consumption by ~80%!

 

Magnetic Variation

Finds true geographical north instead of the ever shifting magnetic north. Useful for marine and military applications!

 

Navigation Speed Threshold

Reduce position drift typically observed on GPS devices.

 

RTCM/DGPS

Enhance position accuracy using data from ground-based reference stations.
