The AmoyDx B-raf V600E Mutation Test Kit is a superior sensitive and selective assay for the detection of V600E (1799T>A) mutation in the B-raf oncogene.

The B-raf mutation V600E is commonly found in human cancer, such as lung cancer, thyroid cancer and melanoma. Over 90% mutations are the V600E (1799T>A) mutation. The contribution of this mutation to the development of melanomas is under debate and presence of a link between mutation status and response to various treatments is being studied.
