Product Description

2-naphthol also called β-Naphthol, the molecular formula is C10H8. It is white glossy flake or white powder, and it is the  most important organic chemical raw materials and the most important dye intermediate 

 

Physichochemical Property

It is flammable and water insoluble, but dissolving in ethanol, ethyl ether, chloroform, glycerin 

and alkaline solution. The property is stable in the air, and its color will turn dark if keeping for l

ong time or exposure in the sun. With irritant phenol odor and sublimation by heating. The 

density is 1.28g/cm3, melting point is 123124, boiling point is 285286 and flash point is 161.

Application 

It is used in dye, rubber and oil paint, and the raw material of rubber antioxidant, bactericide, 

mold inhibitor, preservative.

net weight is 25Kg/bag. Keep away from fire during Storage and transportation delivery and 

stored as inflammable items in dry warehouse. It belongs to common chemical product.
